Whilst this might be the first question many of our enquiries kick off with, it is probably not the best question.
It is a fair question, let’s face it, your marketing budget would have a limit. However, we think a better question to ask is what ROI (Return on investment) will I get?
If you are looking for an agency to do this marketing work for you, you will more than likely be faced with a few different pricing options.
Some will bill you an hourly rate for the work they do, some will have set project pricing and then there is the points-based pricing model that we use here at DigiTLC.
With project pricing, the scope of work is usually very fixed. Any work required out of the scope would attract additional charges that you may not have expected. On the other hand, working on an hourly basis is flexible, however, it is difficult for you to know how long it should really take for something to be completed.
The benefit of our points pricing model is that is gives you the flexibility to change your strategy each month and know that there will be no awkward conversations about additional charges or how long something took to complete.
Once we agree on the appropriate program level, each month we will work with you to create a strategy that gives you the best ROI based on the number of points you have each month. Any unused points will be carried over to the next month.
If your needs change then you can move between the different programs as required or purchase additional power-up points.
Points-based pricing means we get on with completing agreed tasks without you having to worry about additional hourly charges because we took longer than expected.
Each task, strategy or activity is allocated a pre-determined points value.
For example, for us to write a blog article for you is 2 points. It does not matter what time it takes us to complete the blog, all you will pay is 2 points. This gives you the comfort of knowing that there will be no additional charges to surprise you. We take full responsibility for completing each task while maintaining the quality of our work.
Each program level includes a different number of points. The number of points you will need depends on three things.
